Your body responds best to exercise when it is warmed up and stretched out. It may seem incongruous to you to warm up before yoga because you may think yoga is an hour of stretching. While that’s true, yoga can also be strenuous exercise. And it is best to warm up before to prevent injuries. Your guru will give you a few useful stretches to get through before you start so you maximize your time in the session without spending 10-15 minutes of it to warm up.
